Accountability

Accountability is the necessity of the responsibilities of the officers in an institution to act in this direction by taking into account the criticism and demands regarding the use of their powers and responsibilities, and to take responsibility upon failure, inadequacy or any negativity.

As the Umut Sensin team, we believe that a non-governmental organization must accept that all people are born with dignity and equality, and that it should be sensitive to the moral values, beliefs, customs, traditions and cultures of communities around the world, and that an NGO should never violate human rights. Non-Governmental Organizations should be open and honest towards the people they aim to contribute to their lives, the institutions which they receive funds, their employees, members and partners, public institutions and the society in general. NGOs should not have a secret agenda and should respect the laws. An NGO should be accountable not only to its employees, partners and members, but also to the general public.

In this direction, we adopt the following principles for effective sustainability and accountability and we carry out all our works in accordance with these criteria;

● To make regular elections for the determination of management and execution.
